Meet Emmy!

Emmy Soll (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate based in North Carolina. She earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from University of North Carolina Greensboro. Emmy additionally double-majored in both Psychology and French at Oberlin College for her Bachelor of Arts degree, which included a study abroad program in both Ghana and Senegal. Emmy is fluent in both English and French languages.

Over the past four years, Chase has worked in a variety of settings—including community-based programs and crisis services—supporting LGBTQIA+ youth and adults through life’s complex challenges. His approach is relational, experiential, and deeply affirming. Drawing from his educator background, he knows how transformative it can be to feel truly seen and understood—and he brings that same energy into the therapy room.

Chase works with clients ages 14 and up, offering support around relationship dynamics, life transitions, identity exploration, and non-traditional relationship structures like polyamory and ethical non-monogamy. He also helps clients navigate grief, sexuality and intimacy concerns, infidelity, and the process of unlearning cis- and heteronormative conditioning. His clients are often navigating layered experiences—and Chase shows up with empathy, attunement, and a deep respect for each person’s lived story.

His work is grounded in contemporary psychodynamic and humanistic theories, and always viewed through a trauma-informed lens. Chase has completed training in the Gottman Method (Level 1), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and an EFT Externship (2025). He blends these models with sex therapy-informed approaches to support emotional processing and relationship healing in a way that feels grounded and accessible.

Chase is a member of the American Counseling Association and SAIGE (Society for Sexual, Affectional, Intersex, and Gender Expansive Identities), and is committed to cultural humility, social justice, and lifelong learning. At the heart of his work is a belief in meeting people exactly where they are—with warmth, validation, and a collaborative spirit that honors each client’s strengths.
