Meet Chloe!

Chloe Gehl (she/her) is a queer-identified Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate, practicing in both North Carolina and Wisconsin. She holds a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Human Development from UW–Green Bay. Chloe brings a grounded, compassionate presence to her work and is deeply committed to helping clients feel safe, seen, and supported.

With four years of experience across a variety of care settings—including urgent care, intensive outpatient programming, and substance use recovery—Chloe has worked with individuals from all walks of life. Her clinical foundation is rooted in LGBTQIA+ affirming care, and she has been actively involved in queer community advocacy work in the Midwest. Chloe is passionate about supporting individuals navigating identity, recovery, and emotional wellness in a world that often misunderstands or marginalizes them.

Chloe works with clients ages 13 and up, and her areas of focus include gender and sexuality exploration, neurodivergent identities (ADHD/ASD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Bipolar Disorder, and long-term recovery from substance use. She is trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for the treatment of OCD—an evidence-based modality that’s considered a gold standard for care.

Her therapy style is warm, collaborative, and deeply affirming. Chloe integrates a blend of approaches—including psychodynamic work, CBT, solution-focused strategies, person-centered therapy, and mindfulness techniques—tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of the individual in front of her. She shows up with humility, openness, and a strong commitment to anti-oppressive, harm-reduction–based care.

Chloe’s clients often describe her as someone who truly listens, brings a calm presence to heavy moments, and offers a nonjudgmental space to explore even the most vulnerable parts of themselves. Whether you’re untangling identity, working through OCD, managing persistent mental health challenges, or rebuilding your life in recovery, Chloe is here to walk alongside you with empathy and care.
