Meet Chloe
Chloe Gehl (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Associate. She earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from The University of Wisconsin-Madison and holds Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Human Development from The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.
Chloe brings three years of experience working with diverse populations, including LGBTQIA+ identifying individuals, those in recovery from substance use disorders, and clients with a broad range of mental health concerns. Chloe identifies as a queer woman with previous experience in activism in queer communities in a Midwestern state. She also has previous experience supporting patients in urgent care settings, in a substance use recovery program, and through intensive outpatient programming, all with an underlying LGBTQIA+ competency and advocacy approach.
Chloe’s ideal clients are individuals aged six and up who are dealing with challenges related to sexuality and gender identity, “coming out,” neurodivergent identity (ADHD/ASD), depression, anxiety and panic disorder, OCD, navigating life transitions, setting and achieving academic goals, severe and persistent mental illness, and with individuals in recovery from substance use disorders. Her practice is deeply rooted in creating a safe, affirming, and supportive environment where clients can be their authentic selves.
Chloe’s therapeutic approach is guided by principles of anti-oppression, non-judgment, harm reduction, cultural humility, and a commitment to social justice. She integrates a variety of evidence-based practices into her work, including psychodynamic therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused approaches, person-centered therapy, and mindfulness techniques. Chloe prioritizes building a therapeutic relationship founded on trust, empathy, and respect.
